Despite years of denying that she had undergone <a href=\"\/\" target=\"_blank\">facial plastic surgery<\/a>, Betty now admits to \u201chaving a little work done\u201d in 1976. In her memoir, <em>If You Ask Me<\/em>, the 89-year-old celebrity reveals that she had <a href=\"\/facial-plastics\/eyelid-surgery\/\">eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty)<\/a> in 1976 to tighten up the loose skin around her eyes and give her a more youthful appearance.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>One of the most commonly-requested cosmetic procedures, <a href=\"\/facial-plastics\/eyelid-surgery\/\"><strong>eyelid surgery<\/strong><\/a> can correct both droopy upper eyelids and the puffy, baggy skin that forms under the eyes as we age.
